What ages/grades do you work with?
I work with students in grades 1 and up, including middle and high schoolers who need reading intervention.
What happens in a typical tutoring session?
Sessions are tailored to each student’s needs but typically include phonics instruction, fluency practice, comprehension strategies, and multisensory activities.
Do you offer in-person or online tutoring?
Both! In-person sessions are available in the Alton, St. Louis, and St. Charles areas, and online tutoring is available for students anywhere.
How can I support my child at home?
I can provide parents with tailored strategies and resources to reinforce skills between sessions. Regular, but brief practice at home can make a huge difference!
What resources do you offer for educators?
I offer a variety of literacy resources designed to support struggling readers, including phonics-based activities, fluency passages, and comprehension strategies. Many of my materials are specifically created for older struggling readers who need age-appropriate but effective support. My resources include:
